I used to be a Photography Model in University, but six months post-partum, while overeating and mourning my decision to quit my career in the United Nations for motherhood, I weighed in at 106kg - 30kg heavier than normal, wearing a UK Size 18. I felt the full range of negative emotions, the most painful being how it affected my faith and spiritual disciplines.
Thankfully, I decided to do something about it so I pushed my plate aside, opened my Joyce Meyer Everyday life Bible, hired a Coach, and started exercising. As my spiritual life blossomed, my weight dropped. I truly cannot separate my weight loss transformation from my faith.
Four intense months later, I had lost 30kg, and my life changed like WOW!
The best news is that, six years later (and counting), I have kept the weight off, and built a new identity around my Fitness goals. My lasting results have not come from meal plans, workouts, and accountability alone. No! I want to have a body fit and strong enough for my Purpose on earth.
And the BEST PART is that you’d never have to fear the weight will come back, because it won’t!

WOW! coaching operates a concept-based curriculum (CBC). Unlike the traditional coaching (eg, take this meal plan, eat this, don’t eat that), CBC coaching focuses on not just the goal but the processes, so the new wine is put in new wine-skins. This coaching style focuses on identity change and building new habits, so going back to old ways becomes impossible as it is now inconsistent with the new you.

I’m shocked now that I can keep up with my workouts; when I can’t do them in the morning, I still do them in the evening. My earlier mindset was I can’t keep up or do them consistently cos of work and at the home front I don’t have a domestic help.
